⁸ And he ^[a]built the city all around, from the ^[b]Millo even to the surrounding area; and Joab ^[c]repaired the rest of the city. ^9 (A)And David became greater and greater, and Yahweh of hosts was with him.

^10 (B)Now these are the heads of the mighty men whom David had, who gave him strong support in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, ^(C)according to the word of Yahweh concerning Israel.
